What is the Magicverse?

The Magicverse is the other main universe, alongside The Monsterverse; which is has a close connection with.

Unlike The Monsterverse, this film universe does not match our real world as closely.
It still follows the same year system, same Earth locations, etc, etc.  However it's history and biology is a bit different.

As it's title suggests, this universe is full of magical, or seemingly magical people, species and items.
However as many pieces of media and philosophers like to point out, sometimes magic is just advanced science or technology that we do not understand.

Now imagine that every God that has ever existed, and every myth, legend and magical creature was something real.
Now imagine that these Gods are actually a 4th or 5th dimensional extra-terrestrial species that are obsessed with their desire to change and control things that do not need it.  Tried some experiments on the Monsterverse Earth, gave up on it after a while cause they were sick of that crap and decided to start from scratch in an alternate reality and try to create a better Earth but it's really just a clusterf*ck so they also up and left that.

Got all that?  No?  Ok, cool!

Why also have this universe, and not just the one?
Originally this universe was never supposed to exist, it started from Banana Counselling for Self Doubting Wizards.
That was supposed to be a one off thing for a film competition.  But then my brain went off and did what it does best...  coming up with hundreds of ideas that I simply can not ignore.  And thus the Magic and Myth Universe was born!

It was something I could use to tell more fantastical stories that wouldn't fit with The Monsterverse.  However as I was coming up with the rest of the story in the Wairangi trilogy, I was thinking about Valarie's (The Shadow Figure) past.  I just kept coming back to this universe, it made too much sense.  She's such a magical figure.  But how could it work?  Well I've made it work!  You'll just have to wait and see in up coming films.
