Filmmaking

I've been making movies since 2019, the year I decided to pick up Media Studies as a subject at school because I thought that making a short film would be fun.  Well I think I became hooked because I changed my ideal career of some sort of conservationist to a writer-director.  Now I'm coming up with film concepts left, right and centre and can't help myself but to go out and make something when the right series of ideas comes along.

I remember using my point and shoot camera to record videos as a young child.  Just recording my toys and making up stories as I played with them.  Never did anything with these videos, not even sure if they're still around.  However it does go to show that a desire to make movies was always there, I just didn't realise it until midway though high school.  I suppose I have my friends to thank for that, if they hadn't taken media studies a year before and allowed me to see the fun stuff they made I probably wouldn't be on the path I'm on now.  I am also forever grateful that my wonderous friends have consistently been willing to participate in my films in any shape or form, what I've been able to create would not be possible without them.
